Position: Senior UI/UX Designer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences for our digital products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, have a passion for solving complex design challenges, and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- User Research & Insights:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions.
- Translate research findings into wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that align with business objectives.
- User Interface Design:
- Create high-quality UI designs, from concept to implementation, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Design responsive layouts for web and mobile platforms, with a focus on accessibility and usability.
- Prototyping & Testing:
- Develop interactive prototypes to test new ideas and gather feedback.
- Lead usability testing sessions to identify user pain points and iterate on designs based on findings.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase to ensure design fidelity and provide feedback on any UI/UX challenges.
- Design System & Best Practices:
- Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across products.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in UX/UI design, including the latest trends in interaction design and accessibility.
- Mentorship:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, sharing feedback and design expertise.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering digital products.
- Proficiency in design tools: Expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prototyping & wireframing: Strong experience with prototyping tools like Axure, Figma, or similar.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and an understanding of development processes (although coding is not required).
- Strong portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing experience with responsive design, mobile-first design, and design systems.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for staying updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading a design team.
